Birdies for a Breakthrough
The Kramer-Thorson Classic is a charity golf tournament created in 2024 by Ryan and Leah (Kramer) Thorson and Rachel Kramer to honor loved ones dealing with their own cancer diagnoses and take meaningful action in the fight against Multiple Myeloma. Now entering its third year in 2026, we are proud to host the tournament at Oakdale Golf Club, bringing together friends, family, and community partners for a day of golf, connection, and impact.
Our mission is simple: use the game we love to play (badly) to support the lifesaving work of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Multiple Myeloma is a blood cancer that affects plasma cells in the bone marrow and, while it remains incurable, advances in research have dramatically improved treatment options and life expectancy. Yet the disease is still far too prevalent, as it is touching families, friends, neighbors, and colleagues in our own community. Continued funding for research is critical to finding better therapies and, ultimately, a cure.
Through the Kramer-Thorson Classic, we aim to raise awareness and direct funds to cutting-edge research that offers real hope. Every registration, sponsorship and donation helps move that mission forward. Your continued participation makes this event a success!
Thank you for being part of the Kramer-Thorson Classic and for standing with us in this fight. If you have any questions about the event, sponsorship opportunities, or how to get more involved, please contact us at: kramerthorsonclassic@gmail.com
